This is the second book in the Latham series. Book #1, "Celtic Cross", follows Leigh's sister, Cristeen, and her struggle to trust the Lord. In "Claddaugh", Leigh and Rory must each learn to forgive and forget.
Leigh has made some unfortunate and regrettable decisions in her life - can she forgive herself? What about the people involved in her life? Rory fell in love with Leigh but let her go to follow her dreams. Four years later he is at last moving on with his own life. Now Leigh is back, disrupting his peace of mind. Does she even know how he feels? He fears that if he tells her she will reject him, but can he live with himself if he doesn't tell her?
Follow Leigh and Rory on their journey to forgiveness. Along the way readers get a peak at a young Secret Service and the shady world of counterfeiting.
About the Author
Tammy Doherty was born and raised in New England, where seh still lives on a small farm with her husband and daughter. Her background is in horses, farming, and veterinary medicine. She is interested in history, particularly the latter half of the nineteenth century. Ms. Doherty's first novel, "Celtic Cross", has received much praise and acclamation. Currently, she is working on her third novel.

Didn't care for this one.

My husband and I really enjoyed the first book, "Celtic Cross." This one. neither one of us really cared for it.
Wasn't even like the same person wrote it. A long read to get to the conclusion of some things. She bugged me with her constant leading him on, then pushing him away. To scattered in keeping up with things.

This is the second novel by author Tammy Doherty that I have had the pleasure of reading. The main character, Leigh, takes a journey that in so many ways parallels the journey of young twenty-somethings today. Leigh pursues what it is she thinks she wants--heedless of the wisdom and loving guidance of those she is closest to. A series of events leads Leigh to see that what she wants and what she truly needs are so very different, but through it all the Lord is with her for every step. I have to once again thank the author, Tammy Doherty, for keeping me up all night long. I could not stop until I knew what happened to Leigh, Rory, Kyle, and the Donovans.

enjoyable reading

Tammy's book was well written and had a lovely story. Good, clean romance - fun to read while on the beach for vacation.
